Law Of Attraction: Where Does God Fit In?

I believe in God, the Infinite Being, the creator and ruler of the Universe. However, I also believe when modern science claimed that the world was created by the Big Bang. I believe that both divine intervention and science co-exist because God who is of the higher power gave mankind the intelligence and the knowledge in the first place. There is no science without the Infinite Being.

God is good and conveyed His well-meaning teachings through the respective religion that we embraced. There is no religion in the world that teaches us to be bad but men’s misinterpretation and the desire to control others have taken God’s teaching out of context. This has given rise to extremism, conflict and hate in the world today.

I believe in God and I believe in the law of attraction. Many who do not accept the principles of this universal law believe that it is a modern-aged hype. Unknown to them, God had passed this secret to us through his words in the Bible and even Jesus spoke of the principle of this self-help law. The Bible is filled with many verses that support the workings of this law of the universe. God had given us the greatest self-help book ever written, the Bible.

The law of attraction must not be mistaken to attract only material gains. It is actually about achieving abundance in all aspects of our life from faith, relationships, happiness and joy to material wealth. God certainly wants us to live abundantly as indicated in John 10:10 where Jesus said, “I come so that they may have life and have it more abundantly.”

The law of attraction states that when we ask and believe that we will get what we asked for with an unwavering faith, the Infinite Being will mediate all the events in the world to deliver to us what we have asked for. Matthew 7:7 reads “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.” This verse signifies to seek with earnestness, diligence and perseverance combined with a proper spirit, humility and sincerity. His promise to give shall be in the best of our interest.

The law of attraction can be a double-edged sword. As much as it is used to attract abundance, it can also attract failures. A clear example of this principle of the universal law is seen in Job 3:25 when he said, “Because a dreadful thing I have dreaded, it has come upon me. And what I have been scared of comes to me.”

Our life is a gift from God. Just as he intended, we have the power to think and a free will to design our life as we wish. Whether we believe in the secrets of this law or otherwise, it will continue to exist as long as the Bible plays a vital role in our life. God is with us always through the Bible and the law of attraction.
